Pray in Power & Authority… BUT PRAY!
SEVEN CONDITIONS FOR POWERFUL PRAYER
- Pray in the name of Jesus
- Praise God and be thankful
- Pray with intent to be sinless
- Pray bringing glory to God
- Pray with a forgiving heart
- Pray directed by the Holy Spirit
- Pray according to the word of God
In the authority of Jesus Christ’s name, I pray and give glory to God the Father
(Be specific) with faith that my prayer, if in God’s will, will be answered.
Consider these spiritual truisms on prayer:
“We do not get because we do not ask.” James 4:2
Our Greatest sin, and mistake, is not praying. Charles B. Hodge, Jr.
“The prayer of a righteous believer is able to accomplish much.” James 5:16
A study of George Muller’s impressive life in prayer and faith is highly compelling! George Muller “prayed in the Spirit” Eph 6:18 and relied on inspiration from his Bible. Prayer is most effective when aligned with God’s revealed Word. Dutch Sheets
Jesus said, “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10
Pray in power; Pray in authority and pray with specificity … BUT PRAY! Lord, please use my strong belief and teach me to pray in faith. Parker (Mark 11:24, John 15:7)
We are victims of our apathy. We ignore God at our peril. Our God is a sovereign God who knows the end from the beginning and knows all our critical needs. He desires a constant conversant relationship with us; And above all else, He desires our obedience! John 14:15 Those longing for a loving and obedient relationship with the Lord will turn to their Bibles and discover how best to live that will reverence God. JustBelief.org We must believe in order to receive God’s powerful blessings. Believe and Receive!
We are overcomers and conquerors in the name of Christ Jesus! Rm.8:37; Jn.16:33
PROCLAMATIONS ABOUT THE CROSS: Confessing the Power of the Blood
The only source of every blessing from God is the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The cross of Christ represents one perfect, all sufficient sacrifice for our sins.
As Christians, we place our complete trust for our lives in Jesus’ sacrifice at the cross.
The Apostle Paul stressed that “We must preach Christ crucified.” It is the cross that releases God’s supernatural grace into our lives
Jesus tells those who believe in Him, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:31-32
“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are
being saved, it is the power of God. 1 COR,1:18
“I am crucified with Christ; nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20
The source of our greatest blessings is found at the foot of the cross of Jesus Christ. Never forget that God made Jesus sin for our sinfulness that we might be made righteous because of Christ’s perfect and all sufficient sacrifice. We are Saints of the Most High because we have a life in Christ.
Apply the Blood of Jesus to Your Life
Through the Blood of Jesus, I am redeemed out of the hand of the devil.
Through the Blood of Jesus, all my sins are forgiven.
Through the Blood of Jesus, I am continually being cleansed of all sin.
Through the Blood of Jesus, I am justified, made righteous, just as if I had never sinned.
Through the Blood of Jesus, I am sanctified, made holy, and set apart to God.
Through the Blood of Jesus, I have boldness to enter into the presence of God.
Through the Blood of Jesus, I overcome the work of Satan.
The blood of Jesus cries out continually to God in heaven on my behalf,
We overcome Satan when we testify to what the word says the blood does for us.
Through the blood of Jesus, I have been redeemed out of the hand of Satan. Through the blood of Jesus, all my sins are forgiven.
While I walk in the light, the blood of Jesus is continually cleansing me from all sin.
Through the blood of Jesus I am justified and made righteous; as if I never sinned.

Leslie’s Healing Prayer
Prayer used by Warren Smith in his excellent book “The Light That Was Dark” (1992) from Johanna Michaelsen’s book “The Beautiful Side of Evil.”(1982) (The words have been suited for Leslie by her brother Parker.)
By the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I command (name infirmity) to be gone!
I forbid the presence of sickness and evil in Leslie’s life. We claim the protection
of the blood of Jesus to the glory of God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.”
I will praise the LORD at each opportunity for my wonderful healing. AMEN
An additional plea: In the name of Jesus Christ, we plead the blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, heal your repentant daughter Leslie from any physical illness and drive any evil presence away from her person. Let her grow closer to Jesus daily, and may all this be accomplished to the glory of God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. AMEN; Let it be. AMEN

Hedge of Protection Prayer (“deliver us from evil” JB)
We approach you in confidence Father God, trusting in the promise that whatever we ask You in the name of your divine Son Jesus, You will do. We ask from our desire to serve You, adore You, and to live our lives for You that you build a hedge of protection around us, like that which surrounded Job, and to help us to keep that hedge in good repair and the gate locked so that the enemy and all demonic principalities and powers will have no access or means to breach the hedge except by Your expressed will. Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, we stand against spiritual forces of evil, while recognizing our utter dependence on You and Your power.
By the victory Jesus won on the cross, protect us – spiritually, emotionally, and physically – from all evil and rebuke any evil spirits who wish to attack, influence, or breach Your hedge of protection in any way. By the blood of Jesus Christ, we humbly pray that you fortify Your hedge for our protection from the Evil One.
All of these things we ask in the most holy name of Jesus Christ. Thank you Lord for hearing our prayer. We love You, we worship You, and we continue always to trust in you for our protection. Amen
Remember always that “you are a conqueror because the one who is in you
is greater than the one who is in the world.” 1 John 4:4
*The books and videos from Derek Prince are helpful and rewarding in understanding the blessings and curses affecting families and individuals. His books and videos on applying the Blood of Jesus and deliverance from demons is especially powerful and is essential knowledge for any Bible believing Christian who wants to be delivered from the satanic forces of evil operating in the unseen realm.
Our Salvation Plan – The Bible Way;
Yeshua means – “God Saves” Salvation is of the Lord
The Bible says – “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life…” (1John 5:13) God wants us all to know that we can go to Heaven, but if we expect to get there we must go His way.
All are sinners – “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:23) Because of our sin, we are under sin’s penalty, which is death. “For the wages of sin are death…” (Romans 6:23) This penalty means eternal separation from God in hell.
Christ died for our sins – “God does not want anyone to go to hell, so He sent His one and only Son to die and pay the penalty for our sins. “But God Commandeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
Eternal life is God’s Gift – “…but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23) Please note that eternal life is offered to you as a gift. To receive Christ is to receive life – eternal life, and a home in heaven.
You must repent – Jesus began His ministry in the way of John the Baptist by calling on all men to “Repent because the kingdom of heaven has come near.” (Matthew 4:17) “commandeth all men every where to repent.” (Acts 17:30) To repent means to have a change of mind (or spirit) toward God and toward sin. It means to turn from your sins with all your heart, and trust in Jesus Christ to save you. You can see then, how the man who believes in Christ, repents, and the man who repents, believes in Christ.
How to receive Christ – “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Romans 10:9) You must believe with all your heart, and call on the Lord to save you. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13; Joel 2:32)
Call on the Lord Now
“Dear Jesus, please have mercy upon me, a sinner. Please forgive me of all my sins. I believe you died on the cross for me, and I believe that it is your blood that washes my sins away. I believe You were buried and that God raised You on the third day. Now will you please come in my heart and save my soul? Thank you for saving me Jesus.”
